Happy Mother's Day!

And Happy Cinco de Mayo!  Cannot believe May is here.  It is rainy and chilly in Atlanta today.  Great day to hang out in my craft cave.  I have been busy making Mothers Day cards and in a few days I will show you some of the teacher crafts I have been making.  Busy time of year for everyone.
The first card, I made using a stamp from Serendipity- English Rose.  Easy to color up with copic markers. I cut the green piece to go around the stamped image to make it stand out.  Then I popped up the whole image with pop dots. The second card is, for  the most part, paper from Authentique- spring collection.  Love the colors in it.  It will be perfect for a card for my mom.

First card:  Stamp:  Serendipity,  Stampin UP  Papillion Poupourri
                  Paper:  Flourishes Vanilla, Authentique- spring
Embellish:  copic markers,  spellbinders, SU pink ribbon, tiny tags punch.

Second card:  Stamp Flourishes- Siberian Iris
                      Paper:  Flourishes vanilla,  Authentique- spring
Embellish:  spellbinders, SU ribbon,  MFT banner dies.

I have several more of my creations on facebook, MACards.

Oh! Happy Day

Tilda is running to say Oh Happy Day!  Perfect for a birthday or congratulations card.  I had another fun morning coloring Tilda with copic markers.  I fussy cut her out and popped her up on the card front.  I also added a dienamics fence and IO tiny flowers.  Again I used spring catty paper from Stampin UP.  The grass is a diecut from dienamics and the scallop is a die from SU.  The Happy day sentiment is from a flourishes set I haven't gotten to play with.  Maybe tomorrow will be the day for that.  Please check out my fb page, MACards or come see my booth at Gallery 35 in downtown Alpharetta.  I am always adding new cards and 3D items there.  I have an Etsy site, but haven't been too active.  I need to change that!  I hope you have a happy day and have your own "Tilda" run to you and make your day great!!  Thanks for looking!!!

Tilda with Balloon

I just love Magnolia stamps.  I know, I know, the poor child has no face.  They are so much fun to color with copic markers.  It is like playing dress up with a doll.   I had to make this card 5x5 so Miss Tilda would fit.  I used Stampin UP dsp, Sunshine and Sprinkles which is in the new spring catalog.  I also used matching organdy ribbon that is in the catty too.  Really cute paper and it makes ya happy.  I handmade the flowers and used punches and dies to make the butterflies.  The butterfly inside the card is from Memorybox and is name Pippi.  Silly name.  Reminds me of Pippi Longstocking from books I read in elementary school.  I hope you can see the shine on the balloon.  I added some crystal effects for dimension there.  The lucky limeade border is from Memorybox.  Very versatile die.  Of course, had to add a few flourishes here and there.  This card made me happy this morning, even though I lost an hour sleep due to daylight saving time.  Who cares?  It is a beautiful day here and I am going to enjoy it!  Thanks for stopping by.

Hey! Chicky!!

I colored up this little Serendipity stamp, Chick with Egg for a friend.  She wants a card for her daughter that has  a chick on it.  Hope she likes it.  I used Stampin UP! dsp for the pop of color.  It is the Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp in the spring catalog.  The ribbon from SU in Melon Mambo matches perfectly.  I used spellbinders dies to make the card extra special ( Thanks Jenny Gropp).  I added some spica shimmer to the egg then covered it with Crystal Effects.  Looks amazing!   This was a fun card to do and it put me in an egg-cellent mood!
Thanks for looking!  Have a blessed day.

Easter is on it's Way! Early!

Easter is on March 31st this year.  And, I am ready for some spring color and weather.  I was inspired by that feeling when I created this Easter easel art card.  I stamped this image from Flourishes with Memento ink, Espresso Truffle onto Flourishes classic white paper.  I used Copic markers to color the lilies on the Cross image from the "He is Risen" set.  Lilies come in so many colors!  I used several Spellbinders dies to make the card more interesting.  I also used the Donna Salazar die for SB,  Bitty Blossoms, to make the tiny flowers, and added a Prima leaf.  The Alleluia sentiment came from the same stamp set.  This is the first easel card I have made.  Wouldn't it be a nice Easter gift to someone to set on their desk or table for the holiday?  I hope you like it and will check back every now and then to check my blog ramblings and paper creations.  Thanks for looking!!

Very Valentine

Well, let's just say I have had other things to tend to for the past few months.  Let's see, Christmas, birthday, trips, retreats, illness.  Things that just happen, you know?   I am still making my paper wares and they are always for sale on Etsy or Gallery 35 in Alpharetta or by contacting me.  Still loving the copic markers which I used on this lovely heart wreath by Serendipity Stamps.  Fun, easy to color.  I used paper from BoBunny Love Letters Collection.  The black base card stock is from Stampin UP! The sentiment is Heartlines.   The card is 5x5 but I felt like the heart wreath really needed the extra room.  It is an easy layered card and I really liked the colors.  Hope you like it too.

December is Upon Us!

I cannot believe it is December.  Where does the time go?  My time has been in my craft cave working on some Christmas cards and mini albums.  I also have had fun spending time with fellow crafters.  I love learning tricks of the trade from talented people in the papercrafting worldThe card I am showing today is a Christmas card I created using Stampin UP! Scentsational Season stamp set.  It has little framelits that match the images.  So cute!  Easy to pull together cards, or tags in a cinch.
Hope you like it.

Inkingly yours,
Mary Ann
